Job Description

Pacific Medical Group is a well-established primary care group with approximately 32 providers in 6 clinic sites throughout the greater Portland metropolitan area. This suburban, neighborhood clinic is deeply rooted in the community of Tigard and over the years, our care teams have provided exceptional care to several generations of families.  

 

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who would like the opportunity to join our thriving and provider-driven, outpatient practice of 5 Family Practice Physicians, 2 Advanced Practice Providers and a superb office staff. This position is to accommodate a rapidly growing patient population, which will make it easy to quickly build a full practice.

 

Our ideal candidate will have Primary Care/ Family Medicine experience and a passion for providing exceptional and individualized patient care. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, discussing patient symptoms and concerns and performing thorough examinations to diagnose their medical issues and prescribe medication and/or create a treatment plan when necessary. We emphasize preventative care as well as managing chronic medical problems and are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider who is comfortable with a wide range of patients from small children to geriatrics.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Abilities:

  • Minimum 3 years experience required as licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Clinical competency and expertise in caring for Primary Care patients
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
  • Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
  • In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Respect for patient's confidentiality
  • Compassionate and approachable
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Attend work regularly and on time

General Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
