Job Description

Pacific Medical Group is a well-established primary care group with approximately 32 providers in 6 clinic sites throughout the greater Portland metropolitan area. This suburban, neighborhood clinic is deeply rooted in the community of Tigard and over the years, our care teams have provided exceptional care to several generations of families.  

 

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) with at least 2 years experience, or a Physician Assistant (PA) with at least 3 years experience, within an out-patient Primary Care clinic to join our team. This position is to accommodate a rapidly growing patient population, which will make it easy to quickly build a full practice.

 

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional and individualized patient care that emphasizes preventative care while helping to manage acute and chronic medical conditions. We are looking for a NP who is comfortable with a wide range of patients from small children to geriatrics.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Abilities:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner within an out-patient Primary Care clinic
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Physician Assistant within an out-patient Primary Care clinic
  • Clinical competency and expertise in caring for Primary Care patients
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
  • Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
  • In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Respect for patient's confidentiality
  • Compassionate and approachable
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Attend work regularly and on time

General Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
