Job Description

Family Medicine Physician – Pacific Medical Group, North Portland
Rooted in the community. Inspired by care.

Pacific Medical Group – North Portland, part of the Praxis Health family, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our welcoming, community-oriented team. Our practice has been serving Portland-area families since 1904 and remains dedicated to providing exceptional, individualized care to patients of all ages.

Located in the heart of North Portland (NoPo)—a vibrant, walkable neighborhood known for its proximity to natural spaces, bike paths, and beloved local restaurants, pubs, and shops—our clinic is growing alongside the community we serve. With a loyal and expanding patient panel, we are excited to welcome a new physician who shares our commitment to compassionate, team-based care.

At North Portland, you’ll join a positive, collegial group that feels more like family. Our providers and staff have a strong rapport and genuinely enjoy working together—something we deeply value and intentionally cultivate. We're looking for a physician who thrives in a collaborative environment and is excited to care for multiple generations of families in a supportive, well-established outpatient setting.

What We Offer:

  • 100% outpatient primary care
  • 36 hours over 4-day workweek
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits
  • Signing bonus/ Loan repayment assistance/ Relocation
  • Paid malpractice insurance, CME, dedicated time off
  • Leadership development and mentorship opportunities
  • A connected team backed by the resources of Oregon’s largest independent medical group
  • Light, shared call (no hospital work or hospital call)

Who You Are:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Passionate about providing high-quality, personalized care
  • Comfortable seeing patients across the lifespan
  • Eager to join a mission-driven team making a difference in the NoPo community

If you’re looking for a place to build long-term relationships—with patients and colleagues alike—this could be your next home.

Portland, Oregon:

Edgy, green, and effortlessly cool, Portland, Oregon is where rainforest vibes meet runway minimalism. Tucked between river and mountain with a view of Mt. Hood that feels almost cinematic, this is a city that reinvents the idea of “urban escape.” Mornings begin with oat milk cortados from design-forward cafés, followed by forest bathing in 5,000-acre Forest Park or gallery-hopping through the Pearl. Every detail is curated—whether it’s the brutalist architecture softened by trailing ivy, or the way locals layer Gore-Tex and vintage denim like a second language.

Portland pulses with a creative confidence that’s both grounded and forward-thinking. Indie brands, natural wine bars, and zero-waste concept shops fill walkable neighborhoods where you’re just as likely to find a pop-up tattoo studio as a handcrafted mezcal tasting. Dining here is hyperlocal and haute—think open-fire cooking, foraged ingredients, and tasting menus that read like poetry. It’s a place for aesthetes and adventurers, tastemakers and trail runners, where the lines between luxury and authenticity blur beautifully.
