Praxis Health is launching a state-of-the-art, patient-centered clinic, and we’re searching for a Lead Medical Assistant to help shape this exciting new healthcare model! This model will provide more provider facetime than your traditional Medical Assistant role, which means greater learning opportunities and ways to support patients. If you are tired of all the prior authorizations getting in the way of patient care, this is the place!

Clinic will have a care manager and behavioral health onsite so that you're not trying to do everything independently. 

We need an experienced, proactive, team-oriented Medical Assistant who is passionate about patient care, process improvement, and supporting a high-performing clinical team. If you thrive in a team-based environment and are excited about building something new, this role is for you!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide direct patient care, including vitals, injections, phlebotomy, and assisting with procedures.
• Coordinate daily workflows to optimize efficiency and enhance the patient experience.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Partner with providers and staff to enhance team-based care and patient engagement.

What You Bring to the Team

✔ Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
✔ 2+ years of experience in a medical assistant role (lead or supervisory experience a plus).
✔ Highly reliable and committed to team success.

Experience: 

• No less than 2+ years’ experience as a Medical Assistant
• Experience with Electrocardiogram (EKG), taking vital signs, venipuncture, capillary and giving injections.                                   

Other Requirements:

• Must possess a current BLS certification or obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
