We’re looking for a part-time (20 hrs/week) Medical Assistant to provide regional task box support, with a focus on our South Salem Primary Care Clinic. This on-site role will involve traveling to different clinics based on need, but your primary home clinic can be whichever location is closest to you—Salem, Albany, McMinnville, or Dallas, OR. This position is a great fit for someone reentering the workforce, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule!

About the Role

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting providers and ensuring seamless patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and managing task box messages across assigned clinics (e.g., patient messages, lab results, refill requests)
• Triaging and responding to patient inquiries per clinical protocols
• Routing tasks to the appropriate providers or team members
• Ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation in the EMR
• Rooming patients quickly and efficiently
• Performing Electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures and vital sign measurement
• Updating medical records
• Assisting with minor procedures and administering injections
• Supporting patients through their visit, including discharge and follow-ups
• Managing medical supplies and ensuring a clean work environment

✅ High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

✅ At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or CNA

✅ Ability to multi-task and provide support to multiple providers

✅ Strong customer service skills and attention to detail

✅ BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)

✅ Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
